The Galley Enclosure is the enclosed area just outside the galley where meals are served and crew members often congregate socially over a cup of coffee or the weeks newspapers. Chris Hunter can often be found nearby in the galley planning and preparing the day's meals. "Hunter" has logged more sea time with the Rose than any other sailor other than Captain Bailey.

You're now sitting in the middle of the Galley Enclosure. You can see the companionway aft to the halfdeck. Moving left of there, inboard, you can see the entrance to the engine room, below. Continuing to your left and forward you'll see the bulletin board with letters from former trainees and then the door to the gundeck and trainee cabins.
