You are standing in the forward part of the ship, the bow. You are looking aft into the waist. If you turn to your left you will see the starboard foremast shrouds. Farther around you will spot the starboard tack made off to a timberhead, and then the starboard cathead.
Now you've got a pretty good view of Newport from the dock. Looking directly forward you can see the bowsprit and the timberheads where the foresail and fore topsail starboard bowlines are made off. Continuing around you can look inboard and see the forepeak hatch and the foremast just aft.
Don't miss the ship's bell, amidships abaft the foremast.
Once you come completely around you'll be facing aft again. Notice the anchor chain laying along the deck.
From here you can move back to the waist and continue on below deck.
