Here are some sounds recorded aboard the Rose by a French television crew.

Sounds of the ship below deck on a gentle rolling sea. You can hear the water lapping against the hull and the timbers creaking with the roll.

Orders given at the end of a tacking maneuver by the third mate, Chris McGuire. You can hear him order the leeward tack to be cast off and later the windward tack being heaved in.

The wind in the rigging. This is a very nice sound for an ex-deckhand!

Firing the six-pounder . "Prepare to fire... Fire in the Hole—Boom!"

Entering the harbor in Weymouth in the summer of '96. You can hear the band playing ashore to starboard just like I remember it. It was a very memorable occasion. We were also firing on the Astrid.
